WELCOME TO

Prayer Page

Carole & Kate would like to welcome
you to our prayer page

Here at St. John's we feel prayer is a very important part of the Christian Faith.  We feel it is through prayer that we can come closer to our Father in Heaven. It is through prayer that we can unite with our Christian brothers and sisters in our community, country and around the world.

We know, it is not always easy to pray.
That is why it is always good to remember the prayer
our Saviour taught us:

 Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory
for ever and ever.
Amen.

With so much going on in our world, we would ask you to remember in your prayers:-
Those who are less fortunate than yourself.
Those who are forced to leave their homelands through the action of others.
Those who face hunger, homelessness and imprisonment.
Those who are sick in body and in mind.

For world leaders, especially our government and queen.
For the church throughout the world.

For yourself, your family and friends.
Please also pray those who you find hard to get along with.
